Filoni, a women’s wear boutique located at 131 N. Oak Park Avenue for 18 years, thrives on the in-store shopping experience.   

“If you’re drawn to it, it’s worth trying on,” says Shari Filoni, store owner. “What can you do for the garment? What can the garment do for you? You don’t know until you try it on.”  

The store carries artisan-inspired clothing, accessories and gifts, including collections from Rundholz, Alembika, Moyuru, Krista Larson, Porto and Magnolia Pearl.  

“Every collection, every designer is its own language,” Shari says. “I figure out what’s behind each to help customers translate it.”  

Marissa, Shari’s daughter and a store employee, believes that everyone has the ability to look their best. Have a top you can’t figure out how to style? Or a dress you’ve grown tired of? Bring it into the store with you and she’ll help you style it.   

“Seeing someone put an outfit on and how they light up, it’s truly amazing,” Marissa says.  

Filoni is open Tuesday-Sunday. Their best-kept secret? Filoni also offers private shopping by request outside of regular hours if you’re looking for a more tailored shopping experience. Shari and team will help you look and feel your best!
