While the project is in the planning and development stages, Oak Park Avenue and its parking is still available and unrestricted. Once construction begins, this page will be populated with information on where to park and when to expect restrictions.

The resurfacing phase of the Lake Street Improvement Project was scheduled to start in June when the school years for nearby schools ended and after OPRFHS graduation. With the State of Illinois closing all schools for the rest of the academic year, Village officials approved a plan to start the resurfacing phase early. 

• Two-way traffic on Lake Street will be maintained at all times.

• Minor traffic delays may occur when Lake Street is periodically closed to parking or traffic to allow for safe construction activities.

• Oak Park Avenue from North Boulevard to Lake Street may be closed to through traffic.

• Traffic is limited to local traffic only.
